Bugzilla Integration
Bugzilla Integration plugin allows to synchronize your work in Bugzilla with the work in TargetProcess. As soon as a bug is added/updated in Bugzilla, changes are reflected in TargetProcess and vice versa.
The following bug details can be synchronized:
| Bugzilla → TargetProcess | TargetProcess → Bugzilla |
|---|---|
| Name Description Status Reporter Assignee Comments Priority Severity Create Date Attachments |
Status Reporter Assignee Comments |
Profile Creation
To set up Bugzilla Integration with TargetProcess, Bugzilla Integration Profile should be created. Go to Settings → Plugins and click Add Profile on the Bugzilla Integration screen.
In the first section you should specify Profile Name and several Bugzilla parameters which enable Bugzilla connection:

You also need to map TargetProcess project with the particular Saved Search in Bugzilla. In case you want to import and synchronize bugs from different queries in Bugzilla or to different projects in TargetProcess, different Bugzilla profiles should be created.
Click Check Connection link to be sure that connection was set up successfully. If you set up Bugzilla Integration for the first time, you’ll see the following message:

tp.cgi file enables communications between TargetProcess and Bugzilla. A file for the appropriate Bugzilla version should be downloaded, extracted and put to the Bugzilla root folder. The file can also be found in
[tp_distrib_folder]\TP-2.22.X.XXXXX-setup\TP-2.22.X.XXXXX\Tools\Plugins\BugzillaIntegration\BugzillaScripts\X.X.X\tp.cgi
Properties Mapping
It is very easy to map Bugs States, Priorities and Severities in Bugzilla with the same data in TargetProcess. Start with clicking Automap button in the Mapping section. Plugin will find all the States, Priorities and Severities in Bugzilla and automatically map them to the same data in TargetProcess, if the names are equal. If they are different, you will be able to select appropriate variants from the drop-down lists.

There are two actors in Bugzilla: Assignee (person who will fix a bug) and Reporter (person who added a bug). So Roles are mapped in the following way by default:

Role mapping can be easily changed as well. Drop-down lists contain all the roles you have in TargetProcess and any of them can be selected.
Map Bugzilla Users with TargetProcess users in the same way. You can just start typing TargetProcess user name in the field, and the list of corresponding users will be shown.

Click Save button to save the profile.
Synchronization will start in some minutes and will be performed every 5 minutes after that. Synchronization progress and errors (if any) will appear in the Log.

Now you can see all the bugs from Bugzilla Saved Search, you’ve provided in the Profile, imported to TargetProcess.

On the Bug View page you can see all the other bugs information from Bugzilla, which can not be mapped in the profile:
